What is closed-cell foam?
Polyurethane foam with closed cell is an insulating material in which cells are completely closed, without communication between them. This makes it waterproof to water and moisture, providing superior protection against infiltration. With a density of 30-45 kg/m³, closed-cell foam is tougher and more resistant than the open-cell version, making it ideal for applications where mechanical resistance and waterproofness are critical.
